This Cancellation Policy explains how either party may cancel an engagement with Splicity Dynamics (“Splicity Dynamics”). It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy, and the specific Agreement for your engagement.
1. How to cancel
To cancel an engagement, please notify us in writing by email at info@splicity-dynamics.com. The cancellation takes effect from the date we acknowledge your written notice, subject to any notice period in your Agreement.
2. Notice period
Where the Agreement specifies a notice period (common for retainer or ongoing engagements), that period applies and fees remain payable for it. For fixed-scope projects, cancellation applies from the date of written notice.
3. Fees on cancellation
On cancellation, all work completed and in progress up to the cancellation date, together with any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf, remains payable. Advance payments and amounts for delivered milestones are non-refundable as described in our Refund Policy.
4. Work in progress & handover
Upon settlement of outstanding amounts, we will hand over completed, paid-for Deliverables and provide reasonable assistance for an orderly transition. Rights in Deliverables transfer only once the corresponding fees are paid in full.
5. Cancellation by us
We may cancel or suspend an engagement if payments are overdue, if required information or cooperation is not provided, or for a material breach of the Terms or Agreement. We will give reasonable notice where practicable.
6. Refunds
Any refund following cancellation is governed by our Refund Policy and your Agreement.
